Dedrean Dixon Personal Brand

For my personal logo, I wanted to find a unique way to incorporate my initials (D.K.D) into a monogram. It's something I've toyed with since creating my first portfolio before graduation. I wanted something simple, yet creative. Once landing on the monogram, I built the workings of my brand off of it. I selected the font Carbon as my primary font based on its similar use of angles and rounded corners. I also used it as a base to create some custom letterforms for my wordmark. I paired it with Montserrat for contrast as well as it's simplicity and versatility. The colors are inspired by the color palette I have used in the majority of my home and are centered on a deep olive green color that has become my favorite color within the last 5 years.
